About the program
The Early Steps Dance Program was created to facilitate the development of foundational dance elements, including rhythm and dynamics, in pre-school aged children. The program incorporates dance-specific activities to support motor learning and aims to enhance confidence through structured exploration and creative movement.
Flexible 5-week and 10-week program options are available to license for use within your company or studio, with staff training and a list of required equipment included.
Exercise helps build strong bones and muscles during growth, supports development of coordination and balance, and promotes healthy development, reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

The Early Steps Dance Program was created by a human movement specialist, with a Bachelor in Health, Sport & Exercise Science, a Certificate III in Dance Teaching, and studying towards a Doctor of Physiotherapy. With over 20 year of experience as a dancer, nearly 10 years dance teacher and a passion for working with children, this program was designed to allow children to grow by achieving motor learning and development through movement exploration, creativity and fun.
